    I really have t thank you for a wonderful week in Jordan. The tour was fun with a great bunch of people. Issa - our guide, the drivers and the support staff were all very supportive and made everything fun, (even the tiny glitches ;p). Sincerely appreciate your support to making this happen.

    We had a good time on our Amalfi hiking trip with Active Holiday Company. We captured some stunning images of this gorgeous part of the world. This was our first time of doing an unguided walking trip and was definitely a new learning. In spite of losing our way to Marina del Cantone, it was an adventure we will not forget. The hotels were at really great locations - though basic they were pretty central. The itinerary was good as we covered quite a few places & covered them well.

    The Krabi trip with my friends was way too much fun. We loved every activity we did. From sea cave kayaking to rock climbing and the Phi Phi Island tour. 5 days of fun fun fun!

    After exploring few options I shortlisted on active holiday Company due to their prompt response,courtesy of the staff and the variety of travel options provided based on my travel dates and the budget.I chose the 'Best of Turkey' group trip & had a great experience.It was a very well planned trip and I got detailed information on the itinerary, do's and dont's, etc well before the travel. I covered 9 cities in 15 days and got insights into the local culture through the local guide and got to interact with my fellow group members, all from different countries! 15 days in Turkey was absolute bliss - tried the local cuisine, explored the streets and famous bazaars of Istanbul, valleys and underground city in Cappadocia, watched the whirling Dervishes in  Bursa, walked on the travertines in Pamukkale, sailed on Mediterranean, hiked through ghost village to reach Blue Lagoon, played backgammon & enjoyed the hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia. All in all I had a great time!

    I had an amazing London Marathon experience with an awesome bunch of people this year. My only regret is I didn't get to know the non-Chennai members of the group earlier. Hanging out with like minded blokes is always fun!

    Overall, everything for the Marathon was well organized. The hotel location was superb as it made going to the finish line before the race and walking back to the hotel so easy (especially for spectators), hanging with the team at various times was also a lot of fun. Doing high tea at Westminster Abbey was an excellent idea as we got to know the entire team &  having Pritam giving us tips (especially for the final few miles and post-race tactics) was just excellent.  
     
    Lastly, I loved the enthusiasm that Gauri brought to the event, it is an intangible asset and she was natural at it.

    The Active Holiday Company set up the entire India trip for us. We asked them to plan an adventurous trip through North India for my family and they delivered like champs - everything from the hot air balloon ride to the elephant sanctuary to Samode Palace in Rajasthan to a kick ass party vehicle to traveling around in. This is not a company that is run by desk jockeys! If anyone wants to see the adventurous side of India, these are the people to talk to!

    Me and my Husband, Sachin Kotak had an extremely memorable voyage of the Antarctica where I ran the Full Marathon in March 2016. I must say it was a very well managed event. The itinerary was well thought of and minutely explained in detail. We were pampered right from the day we set foot in Argentina. A mix of activities kept us occupied and engaged throughout, right from the gala dinner 
    and sightseeing in Beunos Aires to Kayaking in the Antarctica waters to ogling at the cute penguins, not to talk about the extremely well managed Marathon at the Kings Cross Island. Everyone was extremely warm and hospitable. It brought out the explorer in both of us. 

    You guys are thorough in your approach on a perfect holiday!

    The entire booking process with Active Holiday Company went very smoothly . They also helped me to get the Argentina Visa in Hyderabad as a special gesture. They got us accommodation in the same hotel where the Marathon crew stayed. It was a good deal and  was very convenient. 
    It was an adventurous trip and I enjoyed every bit of it. And finally to become a Member of the Prestigious Seven Continents Club and the second Indian to do it is truly amazing!
    Just before my departure there was FB update about my Marathon trip to Antarctica from Gauri which was really special.

    Thanks for planning our family trip to Jordan. Exploring Petra on foot was truly the highlight of the trip and the other included activities were perfect to keep both, our 21 year old son and his parents 'Active'!

    Overall i'd say it was a very good trip! Atleast for us, it was a very novel way of discovering and experiencing a new place. It was the 'active' holiday that i was looking for. The organization and the local handling at Bali were top notch. Even when the local handling company changed hands like the last cycling day at Jatiluweh, it was handled very smoothly. The local guide Mr Widhi was very good and helpful and deserves a special mention!

    My trip from Alice Springs to Ayers Rock was excellent. Had fun! We were 18 of us all from different countries. I think this is how backpacking and trekking should be done!

    Our Italy trip was fantastic - it was filled with fun, joy, surprises, adventure, roughing it out, learning so much and seeing and experiencing such beauty.
    I can confidently say it was one of our best trips. Like Ethan said during the trip - this trip had many of his firsts!!! And for me to enjoy it with my teenage son and know that the two of us will cherish this trip and the memories of it for a long time!

    Thanks for helping us organize this trip. We truly had a great time. Cycling was awesome in Italy...I had always known that cycling is very popular & common there but actually seeing so many types of cyclists everyday made me smile each time. I also wanted to add that the arrangement you made along with suggestions for each place, outside of cycling trip, were perfect. We followed most of your suggestions and it worked out very well. We will hook up with you again in future when we are ready for another trip. Spain is next on my list!

    From the word go, you guys were on top of everything. You made sure that we got the honeymoon we wanted. You gave us experiences that we did not know were even possible! We know about ten people who’ve been to Italy and not one of them has cycled through the most exquisite vineyards of Tuscany and not one of them has enjoyed the winding alleys of Venice like we did!

    Cycled through some mind numbing panoramic views and cycling is the way to experience it to the bone. The arrangements were like clockwork we found our bags waiting for us at every hotel. The first 10 kms was sheer down hill touching speeds of over 55km/hour and then boom the gradual 10km gradual uphill hit us and we cursed everyone that was remotely associated with this trip on day four. When the muscles were protesting, the vast pan aromas and scenery calmed us down. Walking and stopping for picnics and then back on the saddle, cycling to the next hotel The hotel and food just kept getting better. One dinner was by far the best we had eaten so far anywhere in the world with all the food locally grown reared or procured all organic even the meat.

    When we travelled to the Tokyo Marathon in 2015, it was the first time we were using someone like Active Holiday Company to help us. We have always managed our marathon travel ourselves but we were pleasantly surprised with the overall efficiency and experience. It really takes the pressure off the registration, tracking when the ballots are opening, most importantly whether one is going to get an entry or not. The guaranteed entry is beneficial but also we didn’t have to worry about where to stay, spend time researching the best hotel options near the start line. A detailed package awaited us on arrival and it had everything we needed from expo details, to race day information on pick up and drop etc. Everything worked like clockwork and it took away all the stress and the hassles that go with travelling for an International marathon - all we had to do was go there, focus on the race, and enjoy our 3 days in Tokyo! We will be using Active Holiday Company again in future for our International races.

    I have to say that we had a fantastic time with the arrangements that you had made for us at the Kaveri Trail Marathon.We liked the fact that the team was very responsive in letting us know the details well in advance and following up with us at every step.This made our task a lot simpler as we had to travel from Bangalore to Mysore for the event.Arranging a small breakfast at 5 am was a very nice gesture as well.The BIB pick up was the bonus for us as it eased travel for us during peak traffic hours. The pasta dinner could have had a slightly better spread.But overall a big thumbs up to your team.

    This was my second international marathon, and a fantastic experience. The hotel was so good, centrally located, awesome breakfast, located close to restaurants - especially the lovely mediterranean one Troia. Enjoyed the theatre experience in London. The city itself is well connected by tube.The London Marathon event was a lifetime experience. The start line was like a festival though the tube to the start line was sultry and packed. The crowds cheering during the run was fantastic. The beautiful medal waiting for me at the finish line was always in my mind during the run. Overall a memorable experience and a must do marathon.

    Running the London marathon as part of the Active Holiday Company group was a great experience. The trip was really well organised and yet person nalised. Gauri was great fun and kept us all in good spirits during the whole trip. Couldn't have asked for a better holiday - will definitely do more trips with Active Holiday Company.

    After searching through their list of holidays for over a month, I finally narrowed down on a hiking holiday to Greece, and got in touch with folks at The Active Holiday Company. Gauri & Uday , the founders of this company, promptly got in touch with me, read my zillion emails patiently, gave me all the suggestions they could, gave me an itinerary that I loved and even helped me through the visa process. I did not want to go with a pre-decided holiday, and had a list of other places that I wanted to visit in Greece, all of which were addressed in this new custom-made itinerary….Only after we reached Greece and started our first walk did I realize how well planned the holiday had turned out to be. Every night was taken care of, every hotel knew we were arriving, every walk had enough details given and every place was what we expected it to be. And considering that we were given enough information about various travel options within Greece, we could get a flavor of the life the locals live.

    The Chicago Marathon stay and the race was awesome. Sita, Sundarambal, Divya and I enjoyed it thoroughly. The address of Club Quarters Central Loop was given as #11 instead of #111 but that apart all other arrangements were just perfect.
